Need a Hand?

Lets Make Good Things Happen Together!

Got an idea that could make a real difference in our community? We'd love to hear about it.

At Rotary Dunedin Central, we're always looking for meaningful ways to support local organisations, community groups, schools, and charities doing great work. Sometimes that support comes in the form of funding. Sometimes it's a team of Rotarians rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in. Often, it's a bit of both.

Whether you're planning a community event, delivering a local initiative, undertaking a special project, or tackling a challenge that could use extra hands or resources, we invite you to tell us about it. Through our Community Project Support programme, organisations can apply for grant funding, hands-on volunteer assistance, or a combination of both to help bring their ideas to life.

We're passionate about backing projects that strengthen our community, create lasting impact, and make Dunedin an even better place to live, work, and belong.

Every great community project starts with an idea. Sometimes all it needs is the right people behind it.

To apply, please download and complete the below Community Project Support Request Form and email it to rotarydunedincentral@gmail.com along with any required supporting documentation.

Applications are considered by our Board, which meets on the second Monday of each month (excluding January). To give your request the best chance of being reviewed at the next meeting, we encourage you to submit it as early as possible.

Let's see what we can achieve together.
