Bethany Moody is a Year 13 student at Columba College. Her focus this year, is her studies in the arts and humanities and her aim aim to study overseas in the fine arts, gender studies, and history in the near future. She has a strong passion and drive for art and expressing societal issues through that,
whether it’s through painting, design, music, & spoken word. Being able to make an impact, to create a change, through speech is powerful and influential. It is significant in todays modern world to raise awareness about issues regarding human rights within our society, here at home and as far as half way across the world. To stand for those who don’t have a voice, to those who are silenced, taking a stand for those who cannot do so. Through personal experience and a voice, this power can create a world of diversity, acceptance, and equity.
Callum Steele MacIntosh is in Year 13 at King’s High School. He’s Student rep on the Board of Trustees, and chair of the Student Council. He’s focussing on English, Biology and Drama this year, with a view to undertaking study in politics and near-science at University. He’s a keen debater, and is considering a career in politics.
