We welcomed Fernanda to the meeting on Tuesday, a returning Rotarian who gave us a 'What's up'
Linda is moving on to Auckland, we will hopefully get to see her on Tuesday as Secret Santa at the club Christmas meeting.
There were special thanks again to Bob Smith for the latest dictionaries given to the English Language School for the refugees.
President Derek King told us about the Cuddle Cot event at the Queen Mary Maternity Hospital for which our club donated $1800.
Jonathan Usher was very grateful for his matted Sarah Smith photograph, which the club gifted him for his efforts on the marvellous auction night.
The $520 collected at the auction for earthquake appeal has now gone to them.
Christmas Party!!!
This weeks meeting is Dunedin Central Christmas function. All partners and families are welcome. There will be a special Secret Santa, so bring gender neutral, $5 gifts for the sack! If you're bringing children it is advised that appropriate gifts are brought for them too. See you all there! PS make sure guests are entered via the apology and guest button in this bulletin.
Last Tuesday Meeting
Unfortunately for us, the scheduled VSA speaker for last Tuesday was volunteering in Kaikoura and couldn't make the meeting.
Instead we had some extended, stand in, 'What's New's' from Fernanda, Pieter and Lisa. We also had updates from Ah-Lek about the book sale and Oamaru Conference venue, and Andrew gave us the updated details about the up-coming India trip.

Cans Cans Cans !!!
For the last meeting of the year we would like to have a big push for the cans so we can give them to the night shelter for over the holiday period.
Remember: It’s your responsibility to arrange a substitute if unable to fulfil your duty.
