India Trip Presentation

Last Tuesday saw a great turn out to the club meeting. Both members and partners thoroughly enjoyed listening to Andrew, Ah Lek and Neville talk about the three week adventure in India.

A power point presentation of fabulous action shots, arranged by Abbey Hamilton was displayed over dinner and then Ah Lek showed  some highlights of the places and people the group encountered. David McLeod commented on the special visit to Rajesh’s parent home for brunch and Sue Mackinlay shared her scary tuk tuk experience ( it’s a wonder she lived to tell the tale). Rajesh was praised for being an excellent tour guide and sharing his wealth of knowledge of India, with the team. Overall it sounded like a ‘trip of a lifetime’ for many club members.

The hamper of goods collected over the weeks prior to Christmas has been dropped off at the Night Shelter. We will cease to try and collect goods on a weekly basis… instead members will be advised of dates for  ‘ can evenings’ during the year.
